Every Tuesday from 11:45AM to 12:45PM in the Career and Counseling Center
Our amazing Career Counselor, Emilia Ovasapyan, will be leading our Career Cafe for ALL students who would like to join. Some of the topics discussed will be resume writing, job search strategies, and interview preparation. In addition to attending a Career Cafe convening, you can schedule an appointment with Emilia to further discuss your career interests. See you there!
Every Thursday from 12:15PM to 1:15PM (Location will vary)
Our wonderful Academic Counselor, Nayeli "Nay" Garcia, will be leading our weekly Dream Big Club events. Location will vary. Be sure to follow our social media accounts and look for our Dream Big flyers posted around campus. See you there!
Thursday April 30, from 11AM to 1:30PM is our Dream Big Transition Fair (Location: MP 103)
Our Career and Counseling team is putting together a transition fair for all Garfield students to attend. We will be having guests from Verdugo joining us to share the resources that are accessible for students once they transition to credit classes.

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Career and Counseling Office will be closed on Monday May 25th. We will resume regular operations on Tuesday May 26th. To schedule an appointment with a counselor, call (818) 240-1000 ext. 5035, 5042 or 5099. Walk-ins are welcomed but will not guarantee an appointment. Calling ahead is highly recommended.
