These classes (Avancemos) are designed to provide a welcoming and low-stress environment for English learners from Spanish speaking countries. We focus on life skills and vocational English to live and work in the USA.

All students are part of Glendale Community College and have the opportunity to take advantage of many options, including: basic skills courses, preparation for high school diploma or high school equivalency tests (GED/HiSET), computer classes, certificate programs, and academic studies.
