Steps to Becoming a Student

NOTE: Classes are only open to students living in California.

STEP 1: Complete Noncredit Student Application

To become a Garfield student, create an OpenCCC Account and complete the Noncredit Application. If you need assistance call us at (818) 240-1000 ext. 5678, 5086, and 5042.

Once the two part application is submitted, you will receive an email from GCC Admissions with your student ID number within 24 hours. If you have not received your ID, please contact Garfield Admissions at (818) 240-1000 ext. 5086

* Please note, you MUST HAVE an ESL placement test completed in order to register for ESL classes.
